Methodology
This directory exists to answer a local search: who actually tints car windows near this place, and can we point to an official source for that claim? It is not a shop website, a lead marketplace, or a copy of Google Maps.
What “local” means here
A listing is local to a search if it has a storefront in that city, a storefront within 25 miles, or a published mobile service area that includes that city. Locally owned is a separate label and is only shown when the business or owner says so.
Evidence
- Every published name, phone, address, URL, and service claim comes from the official website or from owner confirmation.
- A Verified mark means the listing was independently sourced from the official site or the owner. Hover it for the month of the last check.
- Active listings older than 365 days fail catalog validation.
- We do not scrape Google Places, copy ratings, or ingest reviews.
Ranking
- In-city storefront
- Nearby storefront
- Mobile operator whose service area includes the city
- Automotive tint match
- Fresher last-checked date
- Shorter distance
- Stable shop ID
When a page can be indexed
A city page needs at least three current listings plus real local mix (storefront/mobile, services, check dates). A shop page needs original service detail and current sources. A state hub needs at least two indexable cities. Search results and uncovered cities are noindex, follow and stay out of the sitemap.
City pages, shop pages, and guides including cited tint laws are the URLs we want crawlers to use. See the full city list.
